Welcome!

Welcome to the RMCMA! We hope your association with us will be enjoyable. We know that our organization is what it is because of the people here—faculty, staff, volunteer board, and other volunteers—as well as the students, parents, audience members, and the many individuals, businesses, and other organizations who support the RMCMA as donors.

As a full member school of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts (NGCSA), the RMCMA is one of several hundred similar institutions across the country, all believing in excellence and access to arts education and experiences.

What can you expect from us? High quality, student-centered musical offerings delivered in a safe, nurturing, fun, and stimulating artistic environment, along with friendly, courteous, and responsive service. Additional benefits to studying music here include free admission to wonderful concerts, use of our music library, tuition assistance and instrument bank for families in need, and, of course, the opportunity to meet lots of new musician friends!

This year, we salute co-founder Kathy Kucsan, who has left her staff position for other creative pursuits, but whose mark here is indelible. Fortunately, she will remain involved as a contract grant writer and member of the Honorary Advisors for the RMCMA.

In this catalog you’ll find new adventures such as Maintain Your Brain Through Music, and Canta Conmigo, an early childhood program for spanish-speaking families. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or suggestions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
