Amahl and The Night Visitors - World Series - CU at the RMCMA - Guest Artist Concerts - Faculty and Staff Recitals - Student Performathon - Annual Gala Benefit

The RMCMA hosts many recitals, concerts, and other special events during the year. From classical, to jazz, to popular and world music—and from students, to faculty, to local and national guest artists—there’s something for everyone! Watch for detailed calendar listings; below is a sampling of what we offer.

  Amahl and The Night Visitors

One-act holiday opera by Gian-Carlo Menotti. This year will be our 10th anniversary production, held Dec. 10 & 11 at Peak to Peak charter school—with orchestra!
World Series Concerts

Celebrating diverse music from around the world. Four concerts (performers TBA), held on Saturday evenings at 7:30pm: Oct. 1, Nov. 5, Feb. 11, Mar. 11.

CU at the RMCMA

A collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Center for Music at CU-Boulder, featuring varied music from outstanding graduate student performers. Sunday afternoons at 3:00pm: Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 20, Jan. 29, Feb. 19, Mar. 19, Apr. 23.

Guest Artist Concerts

Varied performers, including Camerata Sine Nomine, featuring musicians from the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra (Nov. 18), and Catherine Peterson, Colorado Symphony Orchestra flutist (Mar. 26), among others. See the calendar for the most up to date listings.
Faculty and Staff Recitals
The RMCMA stars come out to shine! We have regular opportunities for faculty and student performers. Make plans to attend our 10th aniversary Celebration Concert, Sept. 10.

Student Performathon
RMCMA students participate in a marathon of recitals to raise money for tuition assistance. In costume! Oct. 29.
Annual Gala Benefit
In this, our anniversary year, we’re taking the best of both the Swing and Magical Evening events, and creating one incredibly fabulous evening! Full dinner, dancing to Boulder Big Band, live & silent auctions, and a paddle-raiser for tuition assistance. Dressy and fun. February, 2006; stay tuned for details!
