A Very Special Announcement to all our wonderful student families & other supporters...

The RMCMA and the Colorado Music Festival (CMF) are planning to merge by the end of 2009!!

This is a very exciting opportunity for the RMCMA and the CMF -- two great non-profit arts organizations -- to come together. We've collaborated for years, and are complementary -- not competitive -- organizations. We'll be able to achieve more, and reach more people as one organization, still committed to providing the highest quality musical performances and educational experiences for the community!

The RMCMA will remain in our building and still be known as the RMCMA, which will eventually become the educational division of the CMF.

In case you're not familiar with the Colorado Music Festival, they are an outstanding 30+-year professional summer festival, drawing exceptional orchestral musicians and soloists from around the world, under the baton of Michael Christie. They also have a strong commitment to education and outreach. The RMCMA and CMF have presented the educational summer workshop series, Classically Kids, for a number of years.
